THE ALPACA
SCARF
24 micron
A fibre that highlights Nature's technology. Soft like cashmere, but stronger than wool.
Raw Materials
The structural advantage of the alpaca fibre is that it has a much smoother surface than wool despite being similar in diameter. This gives the fibre the lustre and softness of a much finer luxury fibre whilst keeping a high level of durability and resilience. It will outlast cashmere every time. As the alpaca is a lean animal that lives high in the Andes mountains, the fibres have evolved to be lightweight and highly efficient at thermally regulation.
DNA
Our alpaca scarves are produced by an English mill that produces some of our favourite overcoat cloths. They are woven like miniature bolts of fabric on traditional looms At 30cm wide, 2m long, and with a silky soft hand, they are ideal for everyday wear with our outerwear during the colder months. They come packaged in black cardboard tubes to keep them neatly stored and for travelling.
